The Outdoor Adventure Club (ODAC) is hosting its 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Auction fundraiser on Friday, April 7th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at NCA. Tickets are $5.00 each or five for $20.00. They may be purchased from an ODAC member prior to the event, or purchased at the door when you arrive. Last year’s event was a huge success thanks to all of the community support. We met our fundraising goal and a great time was had by all. This year’s event promises to be even more fun - don’t miss it! It is open to the community, so be sure to spread the news and bring some friends!
This year’s auction features tons of great items including outdoor gear, household items and student artwork. Of special interest are the one of a kind, handblown glass birds. Several ODAC members took a trip to Boyer Glassworks where they learned about the art of glassblowing and had the opportunity to make their very own birds for the auction. Don’t miss your opportunity to own a true original!
Funds raised at this event will be used toward the ODAC’s spring trip to Sigel, Pennsylvania. The group will have the unique opportunity to experience activities such as brook trout fishing, hiking, and staying in cabins built during the FDR administration’s Public Works Project. It is their goal to raise $4,000 which will fully fund the trip. Any additional funds raised will be put toward future trips and allow NCA to continue to offer these unique learning experiences to students.
