A select group of approximately twenty high school students ventured to the Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies earlier this week. The group participated in the Institute's "Advanced Animal Tracking by Ski" program. Over the course of the day, students trekked through the Au Sable Trail system on cross country skis and studied animal habitats, while conducting a wildlife census. A great time was had by all, including Ms. Monroe and Mr. Rutter who oversaw the excursion.
